Project Overview

Innovative Horizons: Training, Inclusion and Digital Skills for the Future of the Social Sector

The Innovative Horizons project, funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme, aims to strengthen the skills of social workers, educators and professionals through innovative, inclusive and digital training pathways.

The presentations provide an overview of the project, the international partnership involving Italy, Romania and Poland, the main objectives and the expected results. These include the creation of six free, multilingual and interactive training modules, together with an e-learning platform offering webinars, forums, self-assessment tools and collaborative activities.

Starting from a comparative analysis of training needs in the three partner countries, the project identifies six key areas of intervention: mental health and well-being of professionals, digital skills, soft skills, inclusive education and active methodologies, promotion of diversity and inclusion, and empowerment and active participation.

Through methodologies such as blended learning, storytelling, role-playing, peer learning and participatory workshops, Innovative Horizons promotes accessible and effective training that responds to the current challenges of the social sector. The project contributes to improving the quality of services, supporting professional development, strengthening European cooperation networks and building more inclusive and participatory communities.
