Transnational Project Meeting 2

Online, 17 July 2025

The 2nd Transnational Project Meeting of the Innovative Horizons project was held online on July 17, 2025, bringing together the project partners from Italy, Romania and Poland. Hosted by Il Brutto Anatroccolo ONLUS, the meeting represented an important opportunity to review the progress achieved after the kick-off meeting and to strengthen coordination among the partner organisations.

The main focus of the meeting was the advancement of WP2 – Design & Development, with particular attention to the preparation of the national state-of-the-art reports. These reports played a key role in identifying the needs of the social sector in each partner country and provided the basis for the development of the joint report. The partners also discussed the next step of defining the six online training topics, which will guide the creation of the project’s interactive educational materials and future e-learning activities.

Another important part of the discussion was dedicated to dissemination and communication. Partners reviewed the status of the communication plan, dissemination materials and project social media activities, confirming the importance of increasing the visibility of Innovative Horizons both online and offline. The meeting also included a reminder about the completion of the Quality Measures – Module 1 forms, aimed at monitoring the activities carried out during the first project periods and ensuring transparent quality management.

The partnership then agreed on the main operational deadlines for the following months, including the finalisation of the joint report, the creation of the project social page, the development of the online platform, the preparation of interactive training materials and the first testing phase. Partners also confirmed the use of shared digital tools for document management and the need to comply with GDPR rules in all data collection and reporting activities.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to maintaining regular communication, promptly addressing any critical issues and working together to ensure the timely and effective implementation of the project activities.

From Research to Training Design

Following the second transnational project meeting, the Innovative Horizons partnership moved from the initial research phase towards the concrete design of the training pathway. Partners completed the national state-of-the-art reports, which provided a shared evidence base for understanding the main challenges, skills needs and educational priorities in the social sector.

These research results supported the preparation of the joint report and the definition of the six online training topics that will guide the development of the project’s interactive learning materials. This step represents a key transition in WP2 – Design & Development, connecting national research activities with the creation of accessible, practical and innovative educational resources.

At the same time, the partnership confirmed the next operational milestones: the development of the online platform, the preparation of interactive training materials by all partners, the upload of contents and the first internal testing phase. These activities will ensure that the project results are coherent, useful and aligned with the needs of professionals working in the social and educational sectors.
